Hi everyone!

I have been domestic cleaner for a few years now, with a client base allowing me to work 30+ hours per week. I would like to turn this into a proper business and expand as I have been having to turn down new clients. Anyway, the dilemma I'm having is not major, but I'm struggling with whether to name the business...

A- Mackenzie Domestic Services, or

B- Mackenzie's Domestic Services?

I know it seems quite trivial but I just want to get it right.

Just to add, Mackenzie is the Family name.

Thanks!

It's largely personal preference, but I prefer A.

"Hilton Hotels & Resorts"
"Ferrari Società per azioni"
"Makenzie Domestic Services"

It just lends a little more gravity, as opposed to

"Dave's Fish 'n' Chips"
"Vera's Burgers"
"Makenzie's Domestic Services"

Hi Rachel

I think I would probably go with A.

Have you considered Rachel's Domestic Services?

It sounds like you are aiming at domestic clients, rather than commercial ones. Rachel's DS sounds more friendly?

If you intend to expand your customer base to include both domestic and commercial clients, then go with A.

Good luck with your business.

I too vote for A, it sounds professional and clients will take your business seriously. Though if you want a more personal touch, I'd go with others in "Rachel's Domestic Services". That gives you ownership of the business and has a comfortable ring to it.

Best,
Erik
