Hubspot - worth the high cost?

You need to focus on converting marketing activity into sales and that always will mean a mix of marketing activity, measuring what works and tailoring effort into what works best. If you have a budget of £60K plus then you will have lots of opportunities for different types of marketing...

    E-learning software question

Does the course have a wider audience at all other than for the current user? I ask as we are just providing an e-learning platform for other training companies to put up and receive payment for their courses which would do all you needed. PM me for more details, it goes live end of this month.

Very moving and interesting webinar. A lesson for all of us who get very involved in the busyness of work.

    Help sourcing data

I agree however as the derogatory term has been removed by the moderator what is left looks like 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

    Phone answering

We use www.answer.co.uk for overspill calls, so if we are busy, the phone gets answered. Their customer service through Katy is good and calls are answered reliably. Whoever you try get a trial and really do see how they answer the calls, we still test ours and its been a while since we signed up.

    Help sourcing data

I suspect many of those appearing rude in here are anything other than polite when speaking on the phone or meeting face to face. On this occasion I did not read the initial posting as anything other than a paid for request and that the poster was not willing to put in a bulk order until the...

    Automating The Follow-Up Process

Kashflow has something which allows chasing for quotes. Similarly you can set something up in either mailing manager.co.uk or aweber and then control the messaging sent. You do this by just removing the email from the live list to a different list i.e. a pre order list (awaiting payment of...

    Article Writers

PM also sent. Fiverr is great for some things but writing and proofing is not one of them.

Email Service Provider that does not require double opt-in

www.mailingmanager.co.uk although it is possible to have a single opt in with Aweber and other leading names too. Double opt in has its uses though, subscribers tend to be really receptive to list messages as some effort is needed for them to get on the list.

Advice please: Where else to advertise??

Almost all consumer ads on Facebook that are not working are not set up to work well, it could be advert copy, could be image used but most likely not set up to retarget and audience the issue. Happy to chat further about improving your ads - just PM for a chat time - no obligation or sales call...

    Signup Page/Window - Newsletters

We use them on several sites and do get a good sign up rate and more importantly a good conversion from those sign ups. Its a question of timing and flexibility, for example optinmonster has some good templates, low yearly cost and allows a/b testing and analytics. There are loads of free ones...

How settle Adwords if not VAT registered

Google ads will charge you VAT as will any other VAT registered company, you have no choice but to pay it. Its painful but unless you are always going to deal with other non registered companies you will come up against this issue time and time again.

How long and frequent do you keep chasing opportunities until you give up?

Sounds like you need to put a better process in place to qualify the database entries. Where someone stalls i.e. says they need to speak with others, not had funding etc then in my view this should have been picked up on initial call i.e. timescale and decision maker/non decision maker. The...

    T&S for the website

It depends on the risk involved, what are you selling, what is the impact if something goes wrong, on your business? Normally having written for you contracts/terms and conditions are best but in early stage businesses legal templates can work well. PMd you with some details.
