IT Contractors

Hi

I am getting together a personal list of IT Contractors for SME Contracts and thought that UKBF may be of benefit to members that would like some extra work.

We require Contractors to have a very good knowledge in the IT Industry.

We dont require any specific qualifications or years within the industry as all contractors can be deployed within a variety of positions within the projects.

If you are interested or know of someone that would be, please PM me with a covering letter + CV where applicable.

Thank you

Stephanie

Hi Dave,

I cant give you an accurate answer to that question unfortunately as I am looking for people to fill different positions whilst contracting and it all depends on knowledge and position filled by the contractor.

Ideal Experience / Qualifications:
MCSE / MCSA = Experience / Knowledge Equivalent

Could you pm me your friends cv when you have a chance please.

Regards

Stephanie

Don't base it just on MCSE's - I know plenty of MCSE's that look good on paper but who wouldn't come anywhere close to someone who doesn't have an MCSE but who has worked in the field for a while.

Thank you for your comment, I fully agree with you.

We do not have the requirement for a fully qualified MCSE/A although as mentioned above we require someone who has the 'Experience / Knowledge Equivalent' as we fully understand that alot of people in the IT trade do not have this qualification or similar and that the proof is always in the eating!! :)

Do you know of contractors that we may be able to use for work in the future?:p

BTW - That's a great status you have there A Microsoft Small Business Specialist ....What area of IT do you work in?

It depends on the project - I do know plenty of people though :)

The MS Small Business Specialist is a separate qualification from an MCSE - http://www.microsoft.com/smallbusiness/partner/small-business-specialist-faq.mspx

I personally run an IT support company and we look after everything IT-related for a number of small to medium sized companies. We also install new systems for clients as and when required. If you want more info please PM me as I don't want to turn your thread into an advertisement for what my company does!

Cheers

Hi Stephanie,

I work for a recruitment agency called Spring Technology. I specialise in IT contract recruitment for business and technical focuses roles from administrators to programme managers.

If you are looking for MCSA or MCSE then i assume you are looking for technical support, technical specialist, or 1st/2nd/3rd Line personnel.

I do have experience working in this area. If you would be interested in discussing further i would welcome a phone call.

I hope to hear from you.
