I already got a shitty job. I`m talking about a business with low upfront costs. But never mind I don`t think this is the best place for me. Thank you all but i`ll find my own way. If I have some more questions and I ask them and get no answer I will just move along. But I have to try

Anything you now do online will cost money. Just about everything that could be done cheap has now gone.

There are millions of people just like you. All looking to make a few pounds with little effort. It just doesn’t happen anymore.

There are still lots of niches to exploit but they all require expertise and investment.

Hello, thank you. I appreciate you. But I have to try, it`s not ego. If it doesn`t work, then I`ll just be an employee for the rest of my life. But I have to try. I won`t be asking any more questions here because people are very negative. Some people told me to go for it, some people (people on this forum) don't do it. There is no harm from trying anyway 200$ isn`t that much money; it`s about half my paycheck. If it doesn`t work, C`est La Vie.

Do you have any skills or a hobby you can exploit? Even it’s just making candles or whatever and selling at the local market.

A friend makes jam and preserves using fruit picked by the roadside. It earns them around £200 profit per month. Not a lot but enough to pay for their food.

Not negative, just life experience and understand what you are trying to do has been tried by many and failed one hundred times over.

The other problem selling on ebay is that unless you are upfront about the length of the shipping times, you are likely to get a lot of negative feedback. Even if you are clear about shipping times in your listings, a lot of buyers don't read the descriptions properly, so you'll still get negative feedback.

If I'm buying from a foreign/slow shipping seller on eBay, I'll expect to pay close to China prices. And if it's not close, I'll go to Aliexpress cut out a middleman (or I'll pay the premium if I do need it asap).

Any reputable factory will not be on Alibaba, they are leaving in droves.

Not to hijack thread, but for example looking for a few hundred budget* watches to my dial spec (*same quality as I'd pay £4-8 wholesale in UK). Tried a few v cheap one-offs from Aliexpress but wasn't impressed.

The question you should be asking is if they were making so much money why would they be selling there secrets?

Everyrhing from data entry to customer service to social media Managment is a dream. If I were to listen to all the people on forum telling me it’s saturated and it’s saturated I won’t be doing anything. I wanted to start eBay Dropshpping in 2014 but even then it was to saturate while some people made millions.

If you don’t want to help then don’t but I need to do what I think I can do to make money. It’s not really something for nothing it’s buying cheaper and selling higher.

Again if you don’t want to help then don’t but I have to try.

Saturated markets are for people who don't understand niches.

Successful businesses are often built on niches

Concentrate on finding one rather than fooling yourself you can make money with no margin

2 options:

1. You can source yourself and hope to get the results you expect. It will take time, cost money in samples, hope the supplier is who they say they are (a verified factory), and orders arrive the same as the approved sample and as you expect.

2. Employ an agent (there are many out there) who will source samples from different factories, compare quality, components used, pricing, delivery times, consolidate and send to you. Then evaluate the chosen factory, prepare the pro forma, arrange the QC and ship to your door.

Choose the one that ticks your boxes.
