You need to do your own research. There are loads of companies selling lists, you need to source a list that aligns with the products you are promoting.

Last time I brought a list (some years back) I paid around £400.

You sign up to a bulk email service like mailchimp.

However….

You need to be really good at marketing to have any sort of success. You need do a lot of split testing and rework on the email copy. It might take months before you get it optimised. And even then you will be lucky to get 1% even click on the link and then just a couple actually convert.

Affiliate marketing isn’t easy.

Just a quick interjection here; Mailchimp will not allow you to do this with purchased lists any more. I don't know who will, but I had to jump through a million hoops to just run this UKBF newsletter through Maichimp when I re-aquired UKBF. They are very strict, email marketing is much stricter these days when done properly - as it should be.

Sorry I mean to say that I am a little bit confused and I would like to work with an expert who I can share my link with to promote to get commissions from the brands I am promoting and we can share the commission equally

Nothing about your business plan is going to work @olufemadex. No expert is going to work with you, they can get their own affiliate links and keep all the commission.

You need to be very good at marketing to get anything useful from affiliate links.

I'm sorry to say I agree with @fisicx in that trying to make a living out of affiliate links is going to trying to row up stream, so difficult it's almost impossible. You may make some money on the side, but as a main source of income it's going to be extremely difficult. The only companies making good money out of this are doing it on a massive scale, with access to millions of users.

Think of it this way;

If the commission on a link click purchase is £5, but the conversion rate is 50% from cart, and the conversion rate from visitor to cart is 5%, and the conversion rate from your database to link click is 0.05%. (please hold whilst I asked ChatGPT to help me with the math.....)

You will need a mailing list or audience of 1.6million people to earn you £100 with those assumptions, assumptions which I think are quite reasonable to assume.

If you really want to buy a list then there are some companies listed here;

However, make sure doing this doesn't breach your affiliate contract with your affiliate links.
If you were one of my affiliates and I found out you purchased a list to send your affiliate links to, I would immediately terminate your affiliate code and ban you from promoting my business.
