My IP got blocked from my server today

Couldn't visit site and couldn't connect to server to FTP

Host unblocked me, got on to site in Chrome, connected with FTP but as soon as I visited the site in Edge I got blocked again.

Host unblocked me again, avoided using Edge, deleted a load of files, edited .htaccess, set up error redirects better everything working fine, but then opened in Edge again and immediately blocked.

What's most likely cause of this?
Do you think clearing all cookies, cache and history in Edge will solve this.

I did intend doing this before visiting the site in Edge, but clicked on a bookmark to the site before doing it :(

Is it only your IP being blocked? Can you ask others to try and access the site from different IPs using Edge?

    It's only me.

Once blocked I am blocked with all browsers, it's just Edge that triggers it though.

After the last time I was unblocked I did a lot of updating and checking using FF and Chrome with no problems.

As soon as I loaded a page in Edge though it blocked me and then couldn't get on the site with any browser (except Opera with VPN enabled)

    Hiya UKSBD.

We've seen a few instances of this. Can you delete the entire browser's cache, history, passwords and everything, then retry your website?

EDGE seems to have an unusual way of storing logins in that it can easily be trying to log in to something on your website or server, without you even realising.

The only way to resolve this is to flush everything from it. The entire cache, history, passwords, the whole lot, then start again.

I've done that now (apart from stored passwords)

Going to unplug router soon and go to bed, hopefully I'll have a new IP in the morning and will see if I can get on the site again
