When I put some of my pages through header checkers or search console I can see Origin Trials are being run - meta http-equiv="origin-trial" content=

What are these trials and who is running them on my pages?

They are pages that display Adsense, is it likely to be Google running them or could it be something sinister?

There are as many as 20 trials running on some pages

It’s a chrome thing. It’s for tracking developer trials. Edge has similar. Not sure about the others.

Pretty sure our web masters on here will have the answer for you, in the mean time I thought this was related to something techie people used to test a new or experimental web platform something maybe your web hosts are running ?

Yes, but don't think it is my host, it appears to be Google.

Remove the AdSsense from my pages and the Origin Trials dissapears too.

The developer adds the code. You have no choice in the matter. In your case the developer is probably Google.
