Hello

Anyone bought a PC license for this and any recommendation where I can get one for a product key please - not a office 365 but a desktop version - also not a big fan of Lucid and other alternatives but if there are free ones you think can recommend I will hear that; I just want to be able to basic flowchart, swimlane and timeline diagrams - which I can share with customers.

I came across a few sites that sells product (such as CJD keys) keys but the review on this poor.

I recently bought Office 2021 product key for £30 but it doesn't come with visio.

Many thanks

No idea how legit they are or where the licenses come from
Their VAT number doesn't check out VAT ID GB 878618072. Pretty much any details such as address etc... is as doggy as it can be!

If you want something legit the cheapest will be direct from Amazon not 3rd parties. Amazon sells cheaper than the big MS distributors like Ingram, Tech Data etc....

Precisely 'Where' would you like me to start?
CAD = Computer Aided Drawing. My computer aides me to draw things using paint.

Don't need those fancy picture programmes. You can do everything with paint and notepad.

I do know the difference. Was just making a poor attempt at humour.

I remember when Visio first came out - a truly brilliant application. Then MS brought if and it’s been going downhill ever since.

Never needed CAD. I just pay someone else to do it for me. Saves me all the hassle of trying to learn how to do it myself.

I've been using AutoCAD for almost 20 years now, read various books on it, even done evening classes to learn it. I still only scratch the surface of what it can do.
My first experiences with AutoCAD go back to around 1985. Back then, you were limited to File Sizes of a 'Massive' 256 KB - The size of a Floppy Disc! However, you are quite correct in stating that many users merely scratch the surface. My lads use it at different levels - Even the Document Controller can use it for Basic Edits.
