Hi all,
I posted a while back saying that My Hermes let themselves into my house, left a parcel in out front room, didn't leave a note or ask permission to leave the parcel.
I complained to them and was told it would be looked at. This was two weeks ago and we still haven't been given answers.
Legally where would I stand if I wanted to sue them for entering my house without knocking, waling though our front door, then into our living room to leave a parcel that wasn't even for us!
Surely this is something that can be sued against?
In my previous employment working in the public sector this would be seen as illegal and also classed as trespassing. I mean what would happen is he/she did this and then ten minutes later we were broken into. How could the courier explain their fingerprints on our front door and living room door. If that makes sense?
We just want to show them that this can't be done regardless of the fact the courier is self employed. They are still working for or representing My Hermes.
Just looking for some advise on what we would need to do as complaining to them doesn't seem to work.
Thanks!
