The Google dance has got nothing to do with this. In fact it's not even relevant anymore now that google update all it's data centres at the same time.

The problem as Frida suggested just be that you have done something to the site that has resulted in your rejection by google.

But... If you search for you domain name are you still missing?

The first thing to check is your site is indexed, type your domain name in google seach including h t t p:// before the w w w. and you site should be on the first page or a least the first 5 pages or try site:yoursite inc. w w w. and this should show all your indexed pages

If your site is indexed then it might of been hit by the penguin update, believed to have been a number of things, over use of the same keyword as anchor text links in your linkbuilding, under use of link diversity (links all coming from the same platform e.g forum profiles, blog spamming etc) or over use of keyword/s in your content on your website

google is normally happy with you changing your content (updating your website) so I'm sure it's not that, however adding content is better than changing it (this just makes your site larger by adding more)

Also do not use content that you have got from somewhere else, this will just lead you to getting a slap for duplicate content (a no no)

If you have a new site it might have just gone into google as a fresh index then slowly slipped down the SERP's, this can happen

Hope some of this info might of helped!!

Yes do this.

Make sure you have signed up to google webmaster tools as that will tell you the health of your website. It's really quick to do. Once you've done it go to the health section and see if there is a problem there. Don't panic, I have seen many sites go off google due to malware etc and once it's been fixed they were back to were they were before, just make sure you find out what the problem is quickly.
