1 new title, targeted keyword at the beginning of the title
2 new description include keyword and written for conversation
3 link building for that page and keyword
but here is my problem on 01/08/2011 this page was in 19 position but today it's in 68 position what am I doing wrong is this normal?

If you do too much at once i think that can have a negative effect.
From what i can gather if its not a new page then you need to change bits at a time over a period of a few months.

Although im sure an expert will give you a better answer than that. Its been a long time since i did SEO to any degree.

One of the best SEO's understands patience.

I doubt not many do these days, they expect to be a one week process. Well think again :D

Difficult to know, without knowing more. Could you go into more detail regarding the links? My first instinct is perhaps that you've built a large amount then suddenly stopped.

If you want, PM me, I'll have a look at it :)

Yeh maybe, but been there done built k's links in months and still waiting for a HUGE kick back. Don't wait for links.... and build content?

I could not do with a payday loan, interesting enough to see what members do if you got some analytics installed ta ta

Links are everything once you've got your onsite SEO sorted, and are regularly updating with content. Quality>Quantity, but Quality+Quantity>Quality. My main point though was that building large amounts of links, and then immediately stopping, is the most common cause of a sandbox (although this could just be a dance).

Yeah, my sig link's more for the free link juice tbh :D I may set up my analytics to check that out, though.

1 new title, targeted keyword at the beginning of the title - have you done this across the site or just a single page?
2 new description include keyword and written for conversation
Description isn't part of the ranking algorithm, but it is cruscial for click through selling the site.
3 link building for that page and keyword
So you only built links to a single page, and with a single keyphrase?

but here is my problem on 01/08/2011 this page was in 19 position but today it's in 68 position what am I doing wrong is this normal?

The algo changes all the time, and it looks to me as if you have built a 1 legged horse. You need to work site wide, not a page ata time.

Put the old page back, see if it goes back up.

Yeh but depends on quality of links, if your links are dropped no longer found then it will cause you even more problem.

I don't know what you define as a large amount of links :)

Only messing anyway I was on the red wine when I posted :D Get on it anyway
