Strange morning so far ... overslept - this from someone who usually has problems sleeping - had a case of wine delivered from don't know where why or when - ran out of vitals so headed to the shop - went to cash machine and in my personal account suddenly there is over £16k in it.

Ok, so who is going to wake me up first and stop the dream??

Think I might just buy a lottery ticket tonight ....

Did anyone else get the email about two weeks ago though from the United Nations?

I was watching cricket and read it and couldnt stop laughing for ages ... they all thought I was mad - but heck whats new??

The emails purported to be from the UN telling me that as I was a victim of Nigerian scammers, I would be compensated for it, but could I first just email them my full name, address, date of birth and mothers maiden name!

Well so far this morning the wife's handbrake seized up and wouldn't let ge (despite her ploughing the drive with it)

Moments later the cat brought in a bird and started stripping it's feathers off in front of the kids.

Bird rescued & just released. Handbrake still stuck - I'm gonna need a bigger hammer

Ps. Do you realise how alluring you sound when I know you have 16k in the bank and a case of wine in the house

Freaky indeed Gillie. Nothing like that ever happens to me....whinge hinge....it's not fair....why is life so crap etc etc

Enjoy the thought of having it and hope it doesn't disappear lol.

Maybe it is a trainee scammer and they got a little confused!!

This happened to an employee of mine only it was for £20,000. Turns out her tax credits had been fouled up big style and she had to pay it all back .

She did say, however, that even though it was only a short while s,he had such a good feeling that her bank balance was healthy
