obviously...but surely you have an ideal target market??

i understand you have quite a few followers, but how many hits is your website getting??

The people I want to target is 18 - 30, these people often buy phone accessories online.

OK....my view for what its worth.

1. Dreadful name. Most people will mis-spell it (correctly at a guess)
2. Why should I trust you? Your About us (when I found it) was painfully inadequate. Get more content in there, sell yourself, make people believe you are real.
3. Shipping and returns.... surely this deserves more than two lines of text?
4. You are in a hugely competitive market where the big boys have massive marketing budgets. You either need to compete on their playing field or find yourself a niche market that you can exploit.
5. Are you really on the second floor of a building in Islington? Is that where you ship from?
6. No disrespect but, to me, the site is a bit dull to be honest. It doesn't hold my attention for more than moments.

But, first things first....address the issues above, look at giving the site more style, focus on a niche that isn't everything to everyman and make me believe that you aren't about to run off with my money.....

3. How else do I say FREE SHIPPING to the uk and we use royal mail to ship items!!?!?!
4. I understand I am in a huge market but pricewise I think I can compete with the big boys with the prices I have!
5. This is my business address

6. What would you do with the site? What would you recommend?

1. You may have thought it was good but did you perform "any" research beforehand or was this really down to one person's decision that it would work? IMO it was not a good decision but then again I am also just one person.
2. You need to become a wordsmith...or look at some other site for inspiration. There are plenty out there.
3. Again, look at what others are saying and get some inspiration from that. You'll find it difficult to find another site that has just two lines of text about their shipping options and procedures.
4. Thinking that you can compete is good. How do you plan to do this? From my standpoint you don't appear to have any real plan so why do you think that you can compete with companies that have massive marketing budgets? Have good prices is one thing...people knowing about that and actually giving over the card details is quite another.
5. Is your business address where you hold stock and ship from? You seem to have made a side step.
6. Not a question I can answer in one sentence but addressing the issues previously mentioned will be a start.

2. Google them. Tell them Aaron from Market Simplicity put you in touch with them for advice on content writing and copywriting.

4. Do you have a budget to do targeted email marketing or direct mailings to consumers?

please dont take this to offence, think of it as constructive crititism, but I dont think your site, looks like very targetd to your potential market, maybe a littel on the cheap side
You have some really good products and they layout of the product pages look great but the logo for one, and the left and right side banners dont really look very pro.
It seems to me that I lot of sites selling these sort of products have the feel of the apple website. I guess this dose not apply to all shoppers but in my experience and knowing how easy it is to put a website together, I tend to go for the ones that look like they have a lot more work put in to them. This isnt because I trust them more, imagine if your in town looking for somewhere to eat, you wouldn't go to a run down looking cafe if next door there was a smart refurbished one.
I read somewhere that users will decide in the first few seconds if they , like trust, the site and will they stay on the site and will they shop.
sorry going of the track a little here.
But I am sure you get my point.

problem number one is that you are simply not spidered at all (apart from your home page) so will not show up in any Google searches at any position:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=si...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

All the other stuff is just details - if you are not using adwords then you are basically relying on SEO to bring in traffic, so if that isn't there either then you effectively have no traffic source.

Sales = Traffic * Conversion Ratio

Isn't that link targetting bargainaccessories though instead of barginaccessories which does appear to be spidered? I still maintain that the issues relate to lack of trust and lack of a clear target market? Just my opinion of course....

I absolutely agree with AndyP. How on earth can you even dream of competing when you are doing zero marketing on google or search engines.

Do not allow Facebook "Fans" and Twitter followers to go to your head. Thats vanity and in social media terms - it's hardly any. People become a fan of anything from a Sausage Roll on facebook to "Green Army!" - that annoying advert with Paul Whitehouse. Just because they have fanned you does not make them customers.

You absolutely MUST spend money on PPC when you start off. But in all honestly I wouldn't waste the money at the moment because there is no way your site will convert customers in it's current state.

Having a site URL with a spelling mistake in it is a disaster. How can you instal trust when you are unable to spell? I own www.homeleisuredirect.com and www.homeliesuredirect.com (which points to my real site but it is a common typo.) There is no point having one without the other. It makes your site look like amateur night.

Your site is way too dated and simplistic to even attempt to compete in an already saturated market. There we're sites that looked like this 10 years ago. The market has moved on and consumers expect SO much more.

I'm sorry to sound harsh but it really annoys me when people think that they can just start an internet business by making their own $2 website and just sit back and the sales come in. You clearly have no understanding of how the internet works so why on earth do you think you can possibly compete in this market.

I would stick to having an ebay shop with your products in to learn the ropes. You definitely need to educate yourself more in all aspects of commerce.

I'm sure people think i'm being very harsh but if more people we're honest with start-ups there wouldn't be so many failed businesses that fall by the wayside.

A mis-spelled domain and company name will prevent you from making sales, regardless of how much traffic you're able to generate. There's a very simple reason why this is the case: trust. You run a business that requires people to share their credit card details with you. They're only going to do that if they think you're a professional, trustworthy organisation - and you simply have no hope at all of putting that across by calling yourself "Bargin Accessories".

Get yourself a new domain and company name, fast. That's the best thing you can do if you want to start making some money.

I'm not expert in the accessories market and can't offer advice on web site design or SEO stuff, but a generalist view...

Lots of white space on the web site, quite small text and images, make it poor visually for me.

I did a quick search for this

http://barginaccessories.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_10_14&products_id=56Black Leather Skin & Screen Protecter For iPhone

Color : BlackGenuine leatherHelp to hold tightlyProtect the backside100% removeableFree iPhone screen protector Compatible: iPhone 2G 1st/2nd...

Which was cheaper on most sites I found.

I only have 5 or 6 younger friends with iphones, none of them searched the internet for accessories, they all got them in mobile phone shops, so how accurate is your market research ? I'm not saying it's wrong, just asking the question..
