Hi all!

Just joined within the last hour and wanted to introduce myself and the company I represent...

AVRec is a consultancy based in the heart of Amber Valley (Derbyshire), covering the East Midlands and immediate surrounding areas, offering tailored consultative expertise in Recruitment & Training for new and existing businesses looking for assistance in devising strategies for their businesses and to overcome any existing issues.

I've been a visitor and fan of this site for a while now, so look forward to joining in with lots of different discussions and offering any advice to others where needed.

Thanks,
Gary

Thanks Richie!

We don't specialise in a particular area of recruitment but the bulk of the candidates we place and seek work for are in the commercial sector... however, we do from time-to-time place in industrial areas depending on the clients need.

If I'm being honest - What's great about offering the consultation service is that we can focus our experience of recruitment and put together tailored recruitment solutions for clients, doing the research and using their guidance to understand the needs of their business and sector short and long-term.

I see you're in hospitality and catering - I hear that things are starting to go in the direction for that industry right now? Obviously this is their quietest time of year though.

Great stuff.
Indeed catering is picking up, so far we've had a good month so seems to be going in the right direction.
Candidate shortage is a big issue in our sector though, quality candidates at that.
