I am seeing some lovely rankings for KashFlow on Google from my PC

#3 for bookkeeping software
#10 for bookkeeping
#13 for accounting software (out of 180,000,000 results)

But from another PC here I still have my old rankings. Looks like a dance is underway and Google wants to take me out to dinner and then back to hers for some coffee : )

I hope these new SERPS quickly get propogated across all of their servers.

Anyone else seeing anything happening to their site rankings on http://64.233.183.99 ?
 
Sorry, Duane, can't find you at all on the first 6 pages. Hope that dance is going on a bit longer.

Oddness. I noticed that too and got worried. Going to the IP itself doesn't seem to be enough to bring up whichever version of google I was looking at. You also need to edit your hosts file so you can send the correct host header (www.google.co.uk)

Duane are you talking about PPC? - I see you in the number three slot as a sponsored search for bookkeeping software but not anywhere in the organic searches.

Nope, natural results. It's not easy to see the new listings unless you know how to edit your hosts file. Hopefully it'll propogate to the other servers soon and everyone will get those results.

We've ranked well for various phrases before, but never for "accounting software", or for the one-word phrase bookkeeping. So I'm sure you'll all be seeing changes too.

I've not had time to check out the SEO forums to see if anyone else has noticed this yet.

Good to hear. I hope they last. I'm already seeing a decent number of click-throughs and sign ups just from being ranked well on that one server which I am assuming is serving up just a fraction of search results.

However, at the moment there's no telling if these serps will migrate to the other DC's yet. Fingers crossed for you anyway, you've worked hard for it.

Yep, I have worked hard, can't deny it : ) I've got lots of pages now updating with fresh content every 24 hours as per your suggestion and it seems to be working well. Thanks
