Well I am doing exactly the same thing, I have a daughter who has been stalked and beaten at random by the same guy over a two year timespan. I went to my local MP after the police repeatedly fudged the incidents and when the MP went to the local police chief the guy lied to him to cover up their lack of action......................................... The MP took his report at face value which said we had never stood up to press charges, this was a massive and blatent lie and the MP said to us - tough you should make a complaint................................. I then rinsed the MP through Google news and he got such a backlash that I got a private audience and now he is taking Essex Police to account for their lack of action, if he is not satisfied then next stop is the home secretary!! I then wrote about the case on my blog and have now got to a top 6 position in a search for essex police and the same for ***name removed*** the inspector and its only been a months work so far.............................. Naming and shaming does work.
