Youtube and google serps

Now google owns youtube does anyone know or noticed how it sometimes lists youtube vids in the serps ?

Anyone know more about this or how to get videos listed in the serps ?

HI,

You tube is now the second most searched in engine after Google and such google now includes videos in the search results.

To get your videos showing up in thr SERPS you will need to optimise the meta tags and descriptions(if you can) and include a comment box and optimised descriptions and generate inbound links with the relevant anchor text.

The concepts are basicaly the same as normal seo - we have just done this and our SEO agency taught us how to do it.

So seo as per normal but aimed at the video itself ? I notice for some search terms no vids are listed in the serps but a slight variation and they show vids in the results.Trying to work out how this works and why certain terms dont get vids listed in the results.
Im assuming its based on keyword popularity as the ones it shows for are popular keywords with high costs in adwords but the other terms have slightly lower costs.

Put your video . Make sure the title matches the keywords . add related keywords. Get your video linked from trusted sites . You will get your video Up in the SERPs .

At vzaar we built a feature called Search Enhancer. That means that when a seller uploads a video to our platform and then embeds it on any webpage of their choice they can submit that weblink to our Search Enhancer and we submit this data to Google Search.

The reason i asked is because im keeping one step ahead of my competitiors and uploading videos so i can show up in the video rsults on google too.I just wondered how it works because ive yet to see any appear.Now i know its a case of seoing the actual videos its more work required but i now know which direction to go in with it.

Its quite easy. (hardest part making video)

I have done it for some clients and I do believe this is going to be the next step in Google's algorithm change.

The two simplest ways to get your video listed are......................... lets see who knows the answer.
