We are wondering what Yodel is like?
Is it just DHL under another name?

Yodel are useless.

Tried once for a month around two years ago, around 10,000 packages. Dumped them very quickly, awful. May have changed since then.

We ditched Royal Mail in April for Yodel, couldn't beat the price.

We achieve 97% next day success rates with Yodel, whereas RM was about 90%.

Yodel give us a 18:30 collection, and free SMS and email updates for customers.

So far so good, we obviously don't have any experience of performance in peak times though.

Thtas a shame. A local courier uses them and offered us some really cheap prices, but most of the network is through Yodel.

Ideally I would like to find an agent who works with DPD to get competitive prices.

Interlink/DPD are excellent. We've used them for the majority of our seven years and their service has gotten better and better. They 1 Hour delivery window is the best around and our customers love it. Well worth the additional cost when compared to other couriers.

I bought some card stands of ebay ask arranged Yodel to collect them. That was 3 weeks ago and they still havnt been collected. I cant get any answers out of them.

Utter useless.

Agreed!!! Weh have carrier contracts with numerous carriers and DPD are by far the best.

I was using Yodel at work but in 6 months they have lost a camera sent from member of staff at lost of 100 quid and a drain camera from our hire fleet worth 2500 quid, they then said we could only claim back on their insurance the amount of 100 per item even though it was lost in their care. On another occasion I organised a collection from our depot for next day delivery, it took them over a week before they collected the item then another week before it arrived at its destination! They are a joke! Will not entrust them with any items again!
