Yahoo To MSN conversion Tracking

I have put this mail out to a few clients recently and to anybody who is running yahoo accounts its more of a heads up "dont forget the clocks go back" type message....

What do you think about the whole thing?

I had some reps from Yahoo Spain come in and present their "vision", sounded good at the time.

They were talking about some interesting features and things in the pipeline but ultimately it never seems as slick as Adwords.

no doubt ppl using google's broad match modifier on their keywords will forget when importing into the new bing interface

in my experience yes, although you'll only get around 10% of volume relative to google

In most casses they are cheaper until you move into competitive markets like insurance, mortgage, c cards etc but with the 2 engine combining i think that the click prices will possibly see an increase across all sectors and vertical markets.

I wait with baited breath...we utilize all platforms at CVM but one of my real niggles is the support, we have a v good relationship with Google at the mo to the point of meets in HO in Dublin I was surprised from 2009 how helpful they have started to become, but sadly until now the same cant be said for YSM OR MSN/BING. I just hope that with their combination they have recruited some ex Google middle mgt to the top to show em how its done ;-) I also think that they may start to build up a following and raise their share of search but lets see...but i am excited if a little anxious!!
