Hi,
We have moved into a premises in 10 year lease on 1 July 2010 . Previous have moved without leaving any forwarding address even with Landlord (their lease for forfeited I am told). Previous tenants also used address as registered office address .

We have contacted companies House to change their registered address but they have refused to do that citing that the law does allow them to do that, but they will contact their directors and ask them to change the registered address of their company. After 2 month I wrote again to Companies House but got the same reply last week.
I do not understanding how can Companies House have such a lax attitude towards this glaring anomaly. Companies House needs to take proactive approach and use its power to remove inaccurate and fraudulent material from the register. Needless to say this situation is creating confusion in the public and resulting in uncalled-for inconvenience to us as we are also carrying out simpler business at the premise as the precious occupants .
I would appreciate if any one can tell how to address situation and have registered address changed.

Regards
