Hi

I need some advice, I want to create an on-line store, I have a provider in mind BUT I need some advice about what sort of things 'legal bumpf' I should cover or include in my terms and conditions. Obviously I need to follow the law on Distance Sales etc but what else should I cover?

I was thinking
1. terms and conditions - generally about how the business operates
2. data privacy
3. intellectual property

Any other ideas?

Anyone know of anywhere I can download generic legally worded paragraphs that cover this sort of thing?

Cheers

Hi

I've been looking around at T&C's on various websites to see how others have handled it, I've also read through and thoroughly digested the ones from website-contracts. While I am more than happy to follow the law regarding DSR etc the 'document' from website-contracts seemed a little heavy weight for me. Does anyone know how I stand preparing my own? Are there any benefits from purchasing the prepared ones? Thoughts appreciated.

Don't let this hold you back, get the site in progress and sort that out later.
