Yep and I have done! But don't tend to use it much!

Have you thought of an 0800 number? I have a contact that can set you up a FREE 0800 with no setup fee for about a fiver a month! PLUS you get 1200 incoming minutes for free each month!

That's 20 hours of incoming calls to your 0800 number for a fiver a month!

special rate numbers of any type are bad, full stop.

if it isnt included in standard minutes its bad full stop.

people like ringing 01/02 because you know where you are with them.

Which is why I advertise my 0800 AND my 01 number! To say special rate numbers are bad is just wrong!

MANY MANY MANY people call my 0800 nymber and I have got a LOT of business out of it! In fact I have got business BECAUSE of it!

Depends if your offering is national or local. If local then you are better off using a local area number and if national a non-geographic tends to work better to communicate that you operate nationally. Always a good idea to offer a local number as well for those not wanting to call an 0843 though and you could go as far as putting the rate in the small print on your site so everyone is clear.

I think even more don't know or care what the differences are.

I think it also depends if its B2C or B2B. With B2B inclusive minutes on a mobile contract are less critical as most calls are from the company office, or the company is picking up the mobile bill.
