HI their,

So i have access to a wholesaler who has provided me with jewellery(the type you would see in(and also some are sold in) River Island, H&M, Topshop etc.)

I have sold them on ebay in the past, and have been getting around £4-7 per unit(60-80% profit per unit- after paypal/ebay fees).

I was wondering would it be worthwhile trying them out in an RMU.

I live local(ish) to a shopping centre that seems to be constantly busy.
avergae of 85mins dwell time(customers)
79% are female

7 of the 10 Key stores sell similar items.

I dont have really anything planned as im still contemplating.

Does anybody have any advice/input that could help?
Anybody know roughly how many units could be sold per day/week in one of these RMUs?
Rough rental costs for these? (Ive done some research but im reading around £600-800/week, is this right???

Thank you for any help.

Don't know if these guys will be able to answer your questions:

For those who don't know, RMU stands for Retail Merchandising Unit.

You will need to construct a business plan and if possible, try to build up some cash reserves to cover things like rental/stock for at least 12 months. That will cover for you if things don't go to plan.

Not sure on the success of selling using one of these units though.

Your success will depend on various elements such as; RMU position, etc. Like ESK247 says a business plan will help you add some structure and maybe clarity to your ideas and targets.
However, you can test your retail ideas and plans for a shorter duration than 12 months. PM me and I can give you more specific information or take a look at my signature.
