I am currently planning our annual event for our business partners, and we are incorporating the world cup into the day/evening, so the daytime will be our usual corporate event, but then in the afternoon and evening we will be networking/socialising while watching the football.

Does anyone have any good ideas for world cup themed games to increase participation levels and make it good fun for the attendees? Everything I have found has been drinking games, and while we will be providing alcohol the aim is not to get ridiculously drunk!

Any ideas much appreciated! :)

Hi,

Depends on how many people. But upto 90 mins you can play first/last goalscorer minutes. Give everyone who comes a ticket(number) and then the first/last goalscorer wins a bottle of bubbly or something.

Predict first scorer and score.

How many corners?

Take along a Wii/PS3 etc. and set up some sort of knockout competition or penalties only as easier.

Buy a small goal (£50 ish) and bring in a softer ball and have a penalty competition with a "known person" in goal for some fun..

Hope they help, all fairly basic but good, clean fun - for drinkers and non drinkers.

How about if you divide the party into two groups and each group is nominated a team. Then every time a team gets a free kick the appropriate team has to remove an item of clothing and the team that gets completely naked wins.
