I was made bankrupt last year due to personal guarantees I signed on loans for my Limited Company which has since been dissolved.

I've been doing some work on behalf of my Father's Limited company on a self employed basis, on and off since last year.

Things like setting up systems for him, running ads, sales, sending out payment reminders etc.

Am I still alllowed to do that whilst bankrupt? I know i'm not allowed to be a Director by law but unsure about what it means by Manage or promote?

Obviously I don't want to do anything thats against the law but I seen a news article which made me look into this today. I will call the Insolvency office on Monday to verify also just wanted to get some advice on here with it being the weekend.

Are you invoicing him for your services or is he paying you on the books? Either would be okay in my opinion but not if you are acting as a shadow director.
