Hi

I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction or throw a few ideas my way? I am looking to work from home either as a self employed freelancer taking on administration tasks from companies who outsource. How would I go about setting this up and is there generally enough work out there to manage at least a minimum wage from the offset or is there lots of competition etc?

The other option I have been looking at is going in to e-commerce or drop shipping? or something similar but again do not know really where to start. Obviously to start with I would have to stay in my current job to build this up.

I welcome any other ideas also...

Thanks :D

Peopleperhour is fine if you are desperate but it is cut-throat and services are sold for well under their market value.

I eeked our a living for four months and it was the hardest four months of work I have ever done.

What is your own area of expertise? Admin? Yes, you could make a living but it would be seriously hard work to compete.

its an option, in my opinion drop shipping is near on impossible as nearly every market is saturated and margins dont make it worth while if you add in costs needed to make people actually notice your website and not sit on google page 36, also all good and relivant domain names are taken in most areas to the point there are increasing numbers of zynga, giffgaff, gumtree type websites names out there and then its even more expensive as you need to spend money telling people who gumtree are as opposed to a rival who uses the domain name discountsportsupplements.com or motorbikedealsdirect.com

try look at trends say from USA and what is new, or is the new big thing and try replicate it over here, world food wraps will take off, people spend fortunes on pets and allways will, people will allways need their hair cut, cloths to buy, food, property. look into sectors that will allways be here and how you can improve/change what they do or even replicate it in your area as most top business men never invented the first social media website, search engine, gym ect they mad it better, cheaper, with better functions, to an area it wasnt in.

just a thought
