Wordpress Twenty Ten Theme

Currently working on a wordpress twenty ten theme and cannot for the life of me remember how to get rid of the" leave a reply" at the bottom of each page.

Any help appreciated.

In the "discussions" tab of the Settings menu, Have the radio box for "Allow people to post comments on new articles." unchecked.

From memory there is a plug-in called remove-comments-absolute which should solve your problem.

In the excerpt.php file, there is the following line of code:

<div class="excerpt_but">
<?php comments_popup_link('Questions/Comments?', '1 Comment', '% Comments'); ?>
</div>
By using <!-- and --> on each side of the three lines of code above should sort you out

So it should look like this?

<!-- and --><div class="excerpt_but"><!-- and -->
<!-- and --><?php comments_popup_link('Questions/Comments?', '1 Comment', '% Comments'); ?><!-- and -->
<!-- and --></div><!-- and -->

I assumed I could find the file through the dashboard.

Where can I locate the excerpt.php file?

You will need to ftp in to your hosting and edit the file!
