Hi All,

I'm struggling to get my Wordpress installation working, I have installed the Wordpress through Softaculous on my C panel but everytime I go to the wp-admin page it just tells me the page cannot be displayed?

I have a few sites that I have designed through Wordpress and never had this issue?

The installation tells me it has completed with no problems?

Any help would he greatly appreciated,

Kind Regards

I don't recommend using the 'auto installers' for WP (and other scripts) as they leave so many holes in the site (from usernames to badly configured settings)

If you're installing copies of WP on a regular basis, it might be worth learning how to install it using the file manager in Cpanel.

It takes about a minute to do and only consists of:

- setting up a database
- Uploading files (directlly download from wordpress.org)
- Running the installation process (just add the database settings)

Once you learn to do this, you can vastly improve the security of your sites and have full control of what happens (including setting the admin to something more unique (see the latest WP hacks on why this is necessary).

Worth checking that the installation had enough disk space on the host, I've seen cases where the Softaculous script completed OK but the link it then provides to wp-admin didn't work because not all the files had actually been copied. Also check that the domain name you entered in the installation is correct and pointing to the right location.
