Woocommerce Payments Delay

Wondering if someone can help please...

I'm soon going to be launching a new woocommerce site soon and can't work out if payments can be delayed

I want the opportunity check suppliers have the stock available before payment is taken - Perhaps charge their card on dispatch? Or just before?

Is this stand or do I need to set something up?

I don't believe this is something you can do, as you always normally take payment upon order unless you disable the card payment option altogether and offer to contact clients for payment details, but its not really the norm when it comes to ecommerce

There may be a setting to manually approve all orders, but I'm not sure.

Alternatively you could perhaps create some kind of alert box on a product page where this is the situation (you need to check with suppliers on availability), so its clear to the customer. Then I guess you'd just need to get in touch with the customer promptly to keep them updated on their order.
