Building a plugin for a client and we are flipping back and forth about the styling of one element.

This is the demo:

The VISA MER bit is the issue.

Do you prefer the gray background or the plain white?

My suggestion is go with the grey as it highlights there is something on that line different, which drawers your attention to expand the details. I feel without the grey the more options drop down is almost lost.

Well the client has decided he wants the grey background so that's that.

As to not realising it's an accordion, maybe that's because it's in Swedish. If the label said 'More Info' with the down arrow I suspect it would have been clearer.

It's the clients call as you say, but I'd question does it need to be more visible? The reason I say that is I'm assuming the green button is the main CTA, so that's what they want visitors to click/do.

If so we'd A/B test the two, as ultimately what they will want is some sort of sign up or conversion. What looks better to you or I may not be what gets more sales or leads...

The color palette is horrible, everything clashes, the rule of 3 needs to be applied and if they must have every color under the sun, at least have compatible shades. Have a look at color theory and a color wheel to get the right balance and get rid of the hideous green in the banner and the clashing (not the same green) in the buttons.

I haven't mentioned white v grey because I doubt a consumer would hang around long enough to care when faced this 'color onslaught'.

The plugin has gone live with all those clashing colours and has proven very successful. Bounce is low and conversions above expectations so they are very happy.

The banner green (and footer grey) is just part of the demo theme not part of the plugin.

    But thanks for the review.
