Im not to sure if im totally honest.

We have wireless internet with Virgin Media upstairs and not getting the best signal downstairs and im hoping to improve the speed of it.

What would people advise on here?

Thanks.
Hi

We've used these a few times with excellent results:

You set it in repeater mode and you don't need to connect them to the network. Once configured to your wireless network, you can plug it in at a position in your home that gets a signal, it then rebroadcasts that signal so you get further coverage. You can also "daisy chain" them for problem areas.

Thanks mate.

What we do at the moment is back onto the wireless internet in the upstairs flat.

Would i need access to the Wireless Hub or do i just need the wireless key etc?

Thanks.
Unless the wireless router upstairs has MAC filtering (unlikely) you just need the wireless key which you put in the web interface of the repeater.

I'm assuming you have permission to use their wireless connection?
