Wired-Gov. Has anyone used this service before?

I've just had an email from one of our industry federations asking if we would like to engage with Wired-Gov and their Supplier Locator Procurement Gateway. Would love to hear whether anyone has dealt with this service/company before?

There are a number of these portals - they often get labelled scams, though most aren't.

They are, however hard-sold with implied promises of being 'given contracts'. Which won't happen.

You will be alerted to filtered contracts which are theoretically (it depends how good your info is and how good their filters are)

In a nutshell; if you want, and are prepared to tender for Public Sector contracts, it can be a useful tool to avaid trawling the lists. And that's it really...

Thanks for the reply. I thought that would be the case. Not sure its the kind of procurement framework which would work for us as a business unfortunately
