Hi all

I hope you can help, i have a few questions. We are a small vinyard in Tuscany, i am looking to set up a online sales website for the uk.
Questions:
1 If i use a bonded warehouse, do i need a license or is the licence held by the warehouse?
2 What do i do about minors ordering alcohol online?
3 What are the legal requierments of me running a website supplying alcohol?

I only know a little about this due to us working with a large UK company who import lorry loads of booze (Can't say the name) but they are well known.

As far as Im aware the bonded warehouse holds the licence for importing, for online ordering is always going to be difficult we are working on a ecommerce site at the present for this company, we are using verification by credit cards however there is still nothing to say minors don't order using parents/friends cards so its very tricky we are still looking deeper into this.

I think you will still need a license to sell alcohol online in the UK, as I said this is only advice based on limited knowledge picked up from this project but these seem to be things you will need to check deeper into to avoid any legal issues.
