Windows Phone 7 released today

Microsoft launched Windows Phone 7 in the UK today.

The phones come with SharePoint and Office integration, 8Gb storage (minimum), 5MP camera (minimum) and a new UI. Also XBox LIVE

Now you can create and edit Word, Excel and Powerpoint docs using your smartphone.

why would you use microsoft office on your mobile? I would so frustrated if I had to work on presentation on such a small screen. Unless you use it only for viewing, then it is fine.

emails, documents and calendars synced to servers and accessible through phones, desktops or laptops perhaps? Office isn't just Word and PP.

the HTC Trophy is in stock at Vodaphone. £25 per month contract. I had a play with it today. I'm very impressed and I'll be getting mine next week.

I think this beats the other smart phones and we'll be looking at developing business apps for it asap.
