windows live mail??

I have been logging into my webmail with orange to get my emails on a laptop.I know want to view and send fromoutlook express.

I believe this is now called windows mail? I downloaded it and its updayed all my emails etc but i cant send an email?

Do i have to get a separate account to log in with password etc?

If you are successfully downloading the email to your account the problem sounds like the send settings.

No you don't need another password and email id...Just go with the same one!

If you go to the link above and follow the steps for the SMTP (outgoing) settings, do you have a check box marked showing "My Account requires Authentication"?

If so, clear that check box and try.
