I am self employed in pest control and looking for other things to do, hence my interest in this site. Pest control does not interest me, I can do it so easily and it is repetitive, it is not scalable either unless I employ others. Too much travelling and not much doing, merely an operative in the field applying practices determined by pesticide supplying companies.
So I am looking for other things, but not sure what. Background in mech eng and building. My web site is not mobile friendly, I know that but the quote from the folk who do the SEO is £150 to make it so. townsendpestcontrol.
Hesitating to invest due to lack of enthusiasm in being a pestie.
I guess one avenue is property maintenance to include pest control?

Spice it up a bit. Start trying to flog stuff to your clients. Brushes, greetings cards, smelly stuff for the house, dog food, whatever.

Agree with the above advise; incorporate your passions in what you want to do that way your enthusiasm won't run dry and the effort you'll need to put in will be worth it. I assume from your posts you aren't looking for a traditional 9-5 and would prefer to stay on the course of self employment?
