Why Isn't my business debit transaction showing?

I recently opened a business account with Barclays and I've noticed when I purchase something online using my business account, it doesn't appear in the transaction section when I check my online/mobile banking.
E.g. when I make a purchase online with my personal bank account, I would be able to immediately see the transaction made. however, with my business account, it doesn't (it just shows the money that was funded in). I know sometimes it may take a business a couple days before they actually get the money (something like 3-5 working days) however, it's been more than 5 days. I've kept a journal of every transaction I made with the business account, I just feel like something isn't right.

my question is, is this normal for a business account to not show transaction made straight away especially if I purchase something online and will it at least show on my monthly statement? I guess I can simply call them up and ask but I'd rather save the humiliation of asking a silly question over the phone for later.

I had the same with my bank and was told that when you make a payment nothing leaves my account untill the sellers bank claims the money on behalf of the seller, which varies on banks and on the company you brought from. Bit odd really but eventually the money leaves the account. Never had it before untill my new account at co op business bank
