who's using Google Plus ??

I have noticed that majority of Google plus users tend to be internet marketers, which makes me ask the question - Are people actually using Google + for personal use? And Do they actually like it?

One benefit I find with Google plus, is that it gives you control over what information you want to share with specific groups of people, whether that be work colleagues or your friends.

You get a nice divide between professionalism and your own personal life.

Any thoughts on the topic?

I'm "using" it. Not caring for it much to be honest either. Someone I hadn't added to my "circles" managed to comment on a post of mine so it's a tad confusing still.

It's a bit 'Duplo' isn't it? Facebook being the Lego Technic...

When you write in your 'Stream', the field directly above the 'Share' button determines who your message will be shown to. If the 'Public' option is selected, anyone could not only see your message but also comment and +1 it too.

Keeping only sharing to your 'Circles' would ensure that people you haven't added to your circles would not see your content to comment on it.

I see your point with Facebook being the current ruling social media platform.

But I'm curious as to what potential Google plus could hold for businesses in future?
As they haven't allowed companies to create profiles yet, I wonder what Google are planning for their business profiles? I think perhaps they're going to somehow integrate them with Google Plus.

So far, I've been staying a lot in Google+ because of the following reasons below:

1. It's much more similar with Twitter. Any person you added into your circles will be on your stream.
2. Much more viral than FB and twitter. Twitter has retweet feature and FB has Share feature but what's good with G+ is that any original posts + comments can be shared and so because it's much more alike with Twitter, the thing I cited above, more activity streams will be shown to different people. I hope you get my point.
3. Google streams are much easier to read for me whereas when I have my first user experience with Twitter. Hehe.

That's all for now.

Google plus is for every one as for business organisation , for general people , friends and for every one. As it has many different features for online business , for entertainment and many like this. So that is why it being liked by more people and now after getting all information about G+ i will start using it.

I think its great & going strong with new extentions being developed for it.

But I think they key here is the community that is using it - Its letting me interact with quite a few bloggers/writers/high profile people that I'm trying to get our videos noticed by & slowly they are following me back.

But thats who's adopted it so far (also geographicly I think its mainly USA)

I can't see it being taken up by general public - certainly not your non tec savy family memebers who have just joined facebook but it sits nicly somewhere between that and twitter at the moment.
