White Hat SEO Outsourcing - Advice Please?

Hi,

I currently run a web design company in the UK, outsourcing all of our SEO to Pakistan. Since the last Penguin update, they are not able to offer a suitable SEO strategy moving forward, so we are now looking at alternative avenues

We need to offer a 'white hat' SEO service which concentrates on a lot of new content creation and blog networks etc. We could take on some of the copyright but as for a vast majority of the link building, we still need to outsource this for cost reasons, otherwise we cannot compete in the market any longer.

Please could anyone advise whether they can vouch for any good offshore SEO companies? Or whether you have any advise or similar experiences to our own.

I appreciate any input.

Perhaps offshore is no longer the way to go. There are plenty of cost effective options closer to home. Plenty of people on here who are knowledgeable.... do a search for SEO recommendations and that will give you somewhere to start.

I would not use anyone offshore these days.

Ok thats a lie.

I still have the social bookmarking aspect outsourced. But even that is under very strict guidence from myself

Everything else is done in house and required to.

But just like Nitro said above, there are alot of people in this forum who can offer the service your require, however i doubt many can do it for anywhere near the low cost you would have been paying pakistan workers.

But if you want to have a look at some people, whilst i have not worked directly with them, they have all gave very good advice in relation to SEO in this forum since i joined.

Are you sure this is a good idea?

AFAIK Penguin targets blog networks and since they are now another common way of manipulating results you can be sure that they will continue to be targeted. When you think of it, a site does not deserve to rank on the strength of a few inbound links from blogs.

I would seriously consider looking at options with someone who will offer a variety of focussed backlink sources and not just focus on blog networks.

I cannot recommend anyone offshore that can do this effectively and honestly. If you offer quality white hat seo partnering with someone in the UK you may be better considering raising your prices and squeezing margins rather than risk the wrath of Google in the future for bad offshore practices.

The issue here is that the OP has said that it is all about price, hence going offshore. Link building has changed beyond recognition in the last 6 weeks, partnering with someone who doesn't know this could be a disater waiting to happen.

I'm feeling distinctly uncomfortable reading this. We have recently started working with a new SEO agency and a lot of work is contracted out offshore. We chose the company because of results they've achieved for other (non competing) brands but the more I read on here, the more I'm wondering just how viable their strategies are. Time will no doubt tell, let's hope it doesn't take a bucket load of cash with few results too.

It depends on your definition of white hat. The only suspect thing I had done was perhaps to make too much use of internal links.
