which laser printer?

I am looking for a cheap to run black and white label printer mainly for picking lists and invoice so nothing to fancy.

the important thing is cheap toners.

I am using inkjet at the moment and the cartridge needs changing every 2 pages!!!

Have a look at Brother laser printers.

What volume of print? Look up cost of ownership over 5 years and then see. Look in particular for hidden maintenance costs. Many printer makes need drum changes or similar at 30,000 or less pages. Sometimes cheaper to throw printer away at that time, sometimes better to buy a more expensive printer that does not need such maintenance. Kyorcera for example. High initial cost, low running cost.

I use an Epson Eco Tank printer. Comes with 2 years of ink and refills are cheap.
It’s inkjet though not laser.

thanks for the comments, I opted for a lexmark in the end, good price and cheap reasonable consumables
