Which EFax provider do you use?

Hi

I am looking to do efaxing and am not a very technical person at all, don't have a clue how it works all I know is that the fax can be sent and received via email instead of actual paper and fax machine.

Will this mean that my fax number will have to change?

Just wondered if anyone uses efaxing and if so which provider do you use?

Thanks

:)

Hi, i'm not sure if this helps but we set up 0845 numbers free with 08direct.co.uk

they gave us an 0845 number with fax-to-email for free...
i've never used it in truth but i'm sure it will come in handy one day!

They also set us voicemail up which emails a wav file to my inbox for me to listen to which is quite novel, so i'd assume if someone faxes me something it will send a jpeg to my inbox with a note of the number from where it was sent - but thats a guess!

We have used Efax for a few years now and are quite happy with it. You will have to change your fax no. but this can be a localised number e.g. we are on 01256 code. I think they offer a 1 month no obligation trial.

Faxes can be received and sent from your PC. The main snag is if you have a hardcopy document to fax you need to scan it in then send from your PC.

You can choose to print received faxes and/or store them on your PC as a PDF etc.

We pay £7.50 per month + VAT but this increases if we send more than a pre-agreed number of faxes. Billing is monthly by DD or continuous credit card payment.

I'm sure there are other alternatives which may be cheaper or easier to use but I am just writing as a satisfied user of Efax.
