Where did you start off ?

I'm looking to start up my own business in the next year or so but struggling to decide on what to do. I'm 20 years old and have just finished college but am working full-time just now and would love to hear from how others started out, where they are today and what good ways off raising money e.c.t. any information would be great really, Thankyou.

first you need profitable idea and good team, then you can talk with investors

Been looking into the idea off online marketing would love to go down that route as selling other companies products and taking a percentage in commission. This would be through E-mail marketing and facebook e.c.t. , there is obviously a lot more too it and not so straight forward as it seems but that's my foundations at least. Has anyone had any experience or useful information on this ?
