where can i get a payment machine from and for how much

recently i seen alot of people ask why i dont have a payment machine that takes money form people's accounts straight away when buying from me for my products alot of people dont know about paypal and some said they dont wana use that but will pay by card

please tell me where i can get a machine from and how do i link it to my account ?

Do you mean to take payments over the phone or in front of the customer using a payment machine?

If so, your bank would help if you have a business account.

I mean over the phone and face to face as alot of customers are ringing in to give us orders and wana pay over the phone.

will the bank give it to me for free?

No - probably best shop around to check prices. But these things are not free.

You will get one through your business bank, or whoever you have a merchant account with.

There are several online alternatives offered by merchants though such as those from streamline or paypal where you use a secure online page to take CNP (customer not present) payments.

We have one from Barclays i think its £24 a month plus the usal fees per transaction.

Virtual Terminal is the online paypal system but you need PayPAl Merchant which i think is £20 a month.

But you can take payments worldwide with VT.
