Deal All,

I'm a new member, nice to meet you.

I have been search all over the web trying to find a answer. My products are specialised tools, like digital spirit levels etc, here is my site: digipas.co.uk.

I tried google ads, but I couldnot manage to get a good enough keywords to show any of our items? I also thinking about some website marketing like thewholesaler.co.uk, but we are more like a retailer.

Has anyone had an idea on this? anywhere I can advertise my site and product? I do plan a budget of a few hundreds pound per month. but free listing would be even better.

any idea would be an excellent help

Thanks,

First of all analyze your competitors what they are doing I mean which websites they are using or targeting for marketing, which strategies they are implementing. After that you'll find the solution.

Or

Try all classifieds website, do micro blogging, and PDF. You'll definitely get results.

you need to identify with your target market and then target them, i very much doubt spacemen, or submarine captains need a digital spirit levels.

Thanks, Totallylsports,

Yes, I do some of these offline, there are special interests groups. However, this is a time consuming research for special customers and we do have big high demand in those areas.

This is why I want to do some general adverts to people like engineers who often use level measuring tools or with DIY hobbies. I googled quite a bit, but I have not found a good example of sites that are more towards those groups.

In other words, I really like to know, what kind of website that relevant users would visit more often, or magazines they would more likely to read. Or if any special advertising company can have a good solution on this, we probably will consider our budget too.

Thanks for your advices, Yes, I need to check what other competitors do online too, I'm not well experienced, but need to learn. Blogging seems to be a good way for long run, I did think about it, but I hope I can reach customers quicker by adverts first, and blogging the next step.

Surely you designed the products with certain people in mind, I have no idea who did your web site, but that alone would put me off if I was an engineer (which i presume is your main market).

I'm thinking to revise the design of the site too, but it takes time. Any particular point you dislike? these are very valuable to me, very appreciated with your opinion.

Thanks

Sorry but web site reviews are reserved for paid members, and need to be in the correct forum, and I don't want to get you or me in trouble;).

There is a lot I think can be done better, and I don't think its targetted properly, I am not risking any more though.
