Where and how sell my business?

Hi All!
I would like to know where and how is the better way to sell my brand. I'm changing my job right now.

The problem is: my company is a UK company but is too young here, we've just moved from italy to UK. So the brand is stronger in Italy right now.

As we are a well known company I don't want to put only adv just not to "scare" our customer. And I would like to sell only the brand with all that surround it.

Any advice?

The company has a gaming computer brand with many positive reviews in the major magazines of italy and uk

I think a little more explanation of what your actually selling would help. It sounds as though you just want to sell the brand (company name). I would suggest that is worth very little without the whole business behind it - unless you are a significant size. What sort of price do you hope to achieve? £100's, £1000's or higher?

Well there aren't any italian online magazines or website for this kind of sell. I would like to use this kind of services: businessesforsale.com/businesszone but I don't know if they will work for this kind of company.

Well for brand I mean business. My ltd has 2 brands, the one I would like to sell is the brand for gaming computer. Brand with business, but not the ltd itself. So brand, website, crm/databse, customers, press contacts, sales orders, distributors, etc.

the turnover is around 300k for year. The business could be home based, all the laboratory, servers, etc are out of UK and with strong partnerships with other major companies.

Hi Alek, you can list the business on our site for free: bizsale.co.uk, although if our researchers decide, it might go up on our larger businesses for sale site at business-sale.com.

Cheers

tnx! There's a way to do this without telling the name of the company or the brand? I don't want to "scare" my customers :D

The company is in perfect helf and positive balance I just want to change job.

Alek,

I suggest that you also identify who will derive the best value from the business. For example, is this primarily a home based business, or might it have value within the portfolio of an existing business? Factors will include level of profit; software / coding used; growth trajectory etc. For a private sale, bulletin boards should work well - for a corporate sale you will need to target very carefully and consider making a direct approach.

Thank you AOB, well my brand has a greater value in Italy than in UK. The fact is that a mid size company get this brand, with a few investments can obtain a high profit. I would like to give this sell to a company that sell brands to gain the best value possible, but the companies I found that do this job, ask too much. I would like to give for example a % to the company that sells my brand. We've done like £250 of turnover in a year and a half, is not bad if you think costs are £0 at the moment. This company can be directed from home.

That turnover is fine for a start up but every business comes down to the same thing, profit. I think there is a previous communication error and the missing "thousand" element.

I would have thought from what you say that Italy is the place where you will get the best price. There must be agents over there to handle such things.

Sorry for the thousand :D
Ok let me explain better. My brand was made in Italy there I've worked for sometimes, then I've opened the company in UK. So the company is UK but actually the 80% of my income is from italian customers.
The problem is that I don't know WHERE to sell the company or to which agency give the job
