Does anyone know when the next page rank update is?

Also has anyone got any marketing ideas for my web site www.concretejobs.co.uk

and anyone got any ideas for the site?

The web site does have a member database but i would like to advertise more and receive more custom.

Firstly, nobody can predict Google updates although plenty have fun trying!

In terms of your online marketing, could you tell us a little about the methods you have implemented so far and the performance of each?

Why is the PR update of any importance? You won't notice any rankings changes when it does update.

Rankings are constantly updated - almost in realtime. PR lags at least 3-6 months behind, so when you see any PR update any effect of it was already factored into the rankings months before.

Yep like ^^ said. Chasing PR actually means very little because it's only a factor ina big calculation. What is more useful is SERPS (your ranking in Google index).

PR can be good leverage when exchanging links though, as many companies prefer to work with high PR sites.

From what I have read on various SEO website the estimates are sometimes in the next 3 weeks. However all the above comments about it not being that important etc. seem to hold true.

As said, there is no set timeframe, but from experieice it can be every 3 - 4 months, or even every 6 ish!!

Is the phone ringing because people are finding the site would be my first concern.Then if they are visiting the site how can you improve it to make more visitors ring etc ?
