I'm looking to get an e-commerce website for a small business venture. It's nothing too flash, I just want to be able to use a couple of payment processors, list no more than 150 or so products and be easy for me to manage behind the scenes. I've found one web company and I really like their style and although I can't say their price isn't reasonable, my financial state right now (I'm a stay at home mum) means that don't have that kind of money.
When is it appropriate to not so much haggle I suppose but ask for it cheaper? I know you don't ask you don't get but I just feel down right cheeky  What would you say if it were your company and I asked you for example? Yes? No? Other?
