What would you do

as you know I work as a labourer in London for day job. I been told they are taking on another bricklayer that amounts to 3 bricklayers now. I said now we have 3 bricklayers am I going to get some more money they said no I just have to work harder for £190 before tax I found out they earn from my loading out weekly around 550 each. I have become good at poker and 2 days I made £210. Do I leave this job and use poker as a income.? What would you do have to work harder for no pay rise.

They always swear at me and if theres a problem its my fault even when they have made mistake or in a bad mood they seem to take it out on me and say things like ""We can always get a polish labourer they threaten to sack me everyday when the 3 bricklayers argue but never seems to get rid of me I have said to him before go on and he went all quite.""

I sympathise with your situation. Maybe threaten them a bit of unfair dismissal wording!!
Otherwise why don't you try looking for another labourer job? I know work in construction is a bit rocky at the moment but have a look around before you make any rash decisions.
I wouldn't recommend you do the poker thing, you could lose it all the next day and then where will you be??

Did you take that 2 days of £210 and put it in your bank account for bills?
Or was it just stake money for the next day?

If the later, then no, don't dump the day job.

210 for few hours work a day for 2 days. I started with only £10. I would do this and I want to set business up ideal really some money in the bank every week and I get time to set my business up I dont plan on being a labourer for ever just a job for now.

I also sympathise with your position, as the job market is still a little bit rocky at the moment, i would stick it out doing what you are doing while carefully playing poker - id put all my winnings in a bank account and start saving until i have enough to comfortably set up on my own... if you are winning as much as you are regurlay within the year - you could be sorted. Stick it out for the short term....:)
