What would you do, 301 or link?

I have a number of inner pages on one of my sites that rank well for a certain keywords and I'm building a new site that will focus purely on these keywords.
Would you link these pages to the new site or redirect (301) them to the new site homepage?
Hope that make sense

I would link them... you'll totally disrupt your first site if you start 301'ing some pages to another site...

Disagree. If you are building a new site with the intent of abandoning the first you should 301 them to the new version.

I would agree with you if the new sites were there to entirely replace the old, but this isn't the case.... redirecting just *some* pages isn't a good idea...

I dont think that this is good by implementing 301 techique on your site. Better to optimize your old site properly.
