What keywords or keyword phrases would you use...

to search for my website? Writebuy.com

About the website:

The website is a classified ads website. A business can sell any thing they don't need anymore and sell them towards other businesses who have registered. They can sell their business, wholesale merchandise, surplus stock, unwanted equipment, vehicles or buildings by placing an ad.

Please post your 5 keywords or keyword phrases you would use in Google (or what ever) with comments on why you chose that keyword.

Thank you,

Neil.

I would recommend buying a report also. The only issue with most of the tools is they simply don't tell you the TRUE competition for phrases. SURE they tell you how many pages are returned for a phrase, and they can tell you the bid cost in PPC, they can tell you other bits and pieces of info, but NONE of them give you 100% accurate competition data.

£100 should buy you some real good competition analysis keyword data. Well it would if you bought it from me LOL I really should add KW as a product on my website.

I have a question for you, from a buyers point of view i would buy from the site in principle, however most business i know big and small simply ditch their old equipment, give or sell it to staff, or put it on ebay, why will they use your site?

At a a very bad guess

With a relatively new site (I see that you've only started optimising yours since the end of last year) concentrate on long tail initially with a view to capturing the one and two word keywords along the way.

I see what you are trying to achieve. It is hard to help with a keyword list without knowing what you really want to achieve.

You see the keyword list need to keep evolving and not remain static. It is a true dynamic of your online business. I have top 2 positions for most of my personal websites.

I have prepared a 70 page optimistaion report for your site writebuy.com. I chose the base keyword as sell your bussiness and the industry category as "Classifieds"

I hope you will find it useful if you do I would love a testimonial for my new site bookyourselfsolid. co. uk

You can download the report here - bookyourselfsolid. co. uk/writebuy.pdf

I cant post urls so the address above is one you will have to copy and paste into your browser or PM me for the address.

If anyone else has a site that want an optimisation report on please let me know

Good luck

Ed

I think you are missing what the OP asked, he asked for SPECIFIC phrases you would optimise for, not advice on optimising :)

Hi bookyourselfsolid

It would be great to have an optimisation report on my site - struggling big time with the direction to take. Looking at keywords for silver jewellery, silver jewellery collection, unusual silver jewellery. I can't post the URL here as I have made less than 15 posts so if OK I'll PM you the URL???

Happy(obviously!) to do a testimonial for your site if you are still ok to help?

Many thanks

Kate

Yes I would agree with this. I think you are going to be in a very competitive area which may require you to spend large amounts if you are going to get top and most obvious keywords quickly.

Well, why would you want to search through the website and possibly buy something?

Not every business has heard writebuy as of yet I must admit, but I've made it much easier for businesses to sell unwanted equipment to gain extra needed money (hopefully near the asking price rather than auction) rather than sell it on to staff, etc... for a cut price or for nothing. And it's all in one portal where it's just business orientated, keeping out the public.

Anyway, you've all been busy replying, sorry for not replying back as often due to work and comitments.

I'll have to download and read through that pdf file Ed this weekend.

Yep, what I'm trying to achieve is a very large task.
